Lauraandjer: updates and musings. Trust and obey and pray. An interesting take on budgeting and spending. I’ve recently started using Google Reader. As my internet homepage. I think that Google is brilliant. Google Reader notifies me whenever there is an update on a blog or website that I follow. Now I don’t have to spend unnecessary time typing in each website address multiple times per week to see if anyone posted something new and interesting. Good idea huh? Monday, September 28, 2009. Not gonna lie, I have really been missing the familiar lately. Between all the fabulous pictures I've seen of ArtPrize (extremely bummed I can't see all of that beauty, by the way) and the updates from my fabulous roommates that I've been getting, it makes me a little bit sad that life has moved on. My roommates (all 6 of them) and every interaction, planned and unplanned, that living in a house with 6 beautiful, funnay (yes, not just funny), talented, powerhouse women entails.

I think the only reason I'm looking forward to being done with Spring Break is that we only have 6 weeks of classes left in this semester and I am quite ready for this semester to be over. Wednesday, February 25, 2009. We also did a 4 hour hike to the Saw Cut Gorge. We walked up the beautiful little river, climbing over huge snow white boulders, while the steep river banks gradually closed in on either side to form tall walls that towered a hundred feet over us. We were sad to leave the summer weather but excited to see friends and family. It took four flights to get home (christ church to auckland, auckland to Fiji, Fiji to L.A., L.A. to Vancouver) but we made it! NZ weeks 12 and 13.
