A Year of New Recipes. I made a new year's resolution to cook a new recipe every week for a year, and created this blog to document it. Tuesday, 28 December 2010. Recipe 46 - Chilli Cheese Crostini. These were another Christmas Party recipe, and probably my personal favourite. I mixed some cream cheese with finely chopped red jalapenos, paprika, sour cream and Worcestershire sauce. I had seen the idea for the Cheddar and Stilton rolls in a magazine – basically think homemade sausage rolls filled with the two cheeses, red onion and rosemary.

Just a pretty face. Thursday, 23 June 2011. I've just come back from a week in the sun with N and my parents. It really showed me just how important it is to take time away from your daily routine and spend time with people you love. Sometimes you don't realise how fast you've been running on the treadmill of life until you get off that treadmill and walk! Conclusion is, my body's now gone into detox mode and is getting rid of all the bad stuff. Gonna need a holiday after the holiday. Monday, 9 May 2011.
