The Parker Family: August 2010
http://parkerfamilytx.blogspot.com/2010_08_01_archive.html
Learning as we go. Monday, August 30, 2010. It seems that upon turning three, my dear son has become quite the little consumer. I long for the days before he realized that everything at Target could hypothetically belong to him if he could simply convince me to put it in the cart. He suddenly has long lists of needs and wants that he constantly places before me, the provider of all things plastic and entertaining. I only want just one! I don't have that! Let me be aware of the treasure you are. Let me not pass you by in quest of some rare and perfect tomorrow. -Mary Irion. Sunday, March 31, 2013. Links to this post. Wednesday, March 27, 2013. Southern Morocco, ready or not, here we come! We pulled up next to the white camel statue and watched most of the race from the comfort of our car. Let me be aware of the treasure you are. Let me not pass you by in quest of some rare and perfect tomorrow. -Mary Irion. Friday, May 24, 2013. One of my favorite things about the Olmsted experience is seeing other scholars in their element. There is something so moving about witnessing this magical adventure on the turf of our fellow Olmsteders. The Welches became our dear friends while in language training in DC. We met them when Abraham was just two weeks old and Gabriel was one! We are so fortunate to...

David, Tricia, Elliott, Jude, Benjamin, and Hattie. Benjamin’s Growth Chart. Elliott’s Growth Chart. Jude’s Growth Chart. Very Funny T-Shirts is a fun little venture I’ve recently started. Just for fun, I design and sell Funny T-Shirts. Some of them are just plain stupid and silly. Some, in my humble opinion, are actually pretty funny! Either way, every t-shirt, sweatshirt, hoodie or other design at very funny t-shirts was designed by yours truly. Throw rotten tomatoes and boo if you want! Well, whatever...

We talked about going to Europe, but in the end with just 4 days to spend away, we decided that what we needed was a relaxing trip to the beach! Barbados was chosen as the destination and we couldn’t have been more excited! 6 months felt like forever, but it was so worth the wait! Finally, November arrived and we headed off to the airport anxious to start our vacation!
