Hello 2012 - The Life and Times of Kevin Sonney
http://alchemist.livejournal.com/860311.html
The Life and Times of Kevin Sonney. Simul justus et peccator. Jan 1st, 2012 at 5:05 PM. 2011 was a fun ride, for the most part – good company, good travel, good gaming, good friends, and a good job all sort of blend together into what is qualified as, I think, a good year. 2012 started with good friends, so I’m hoping that sets the tone. Here’s my wish for 2012 – that it is better than 2011, and that we all be able to find (more) happiness in it. 1] I blame her for my new vocabulary. Race for the cure.

2013 - Why can't we be France?
http://foxfeather.livejournal.com/253360.html
Why cant we be France? Dec 31st, 2013 at 11:48 AM. 2013 is coming to a close, it's been an amazing year for me. I realize that a lot of my life is also the story of other people, and those are not my stories to tell - so I don't have a lot to say except I'm amazed at where my life is at, the people in it, and where it's going. :). I hit some artistic milestones this year - I have gotten to 50 dog breeds in my yin-yang series, which was a big goal! Ty the sea lion. Fishy kisses! Belugas love Ken so much!

Featherseeds: Sizing Matters - Why Paper Manufacturers Changing Watercolor Sizing is a Bad Move
http://featherseeds.blogspot.com/2013/09/sizing-matters-why-paper-manufacturers.html
Sunday, September 8, 2013. Sizing Matters - Why Paper Manufacturers Changing Watercolor Sizing is a Bad Move. I had already started three paintings with this paper and was on a tight deadline - I could not restart them. I tried to work with the paper as best I could, but the quality was lacking. With watercolor paper manufacturers to not switch their sizing without warning the consumers. In what way could they do this? The first step is using a concentrated mixture of Indigo and Sepia watercolor with a #...

Featherdust Studios - My personal website. STATE OF TEH CHICKEN - Nambroths art and brainspew. Please bring an umbrella. 28 November 2012 @ 10:39 pm. STATE OF TEH CHICKEN. I copypastad this from a forum. I think if you click the photos you can see them full size, if you are so inclined. The relationships are quite complex. Who are all the players? We have Moa, the barred rock. She is head hen, and a big-bosomed, blustery girl. Then Chickadee, the smart and somewhat evil genius of the group. And, of cours...

Featherdust Studios - My personal website. Nambroths art and brainspew. Please bring an umbrella. 15 August 2013 @ 10:47 pm. It has, indeed, been quite a long time since I made a state of the chicken post. I regret that after Trousers died, I felt pretty miserable when trying to put one of these posts together. Then Derp got wry neck, and in July everyone! But, here I am! Back again to tell you about chickens. This is a chicken post, why the heck are we talking about gardens? We popped over to visit Eld'...

Featherdust Studios - My personal website. Another Trousers Update - Nambroths art and brainspew. Please bring an umbrella. 13 March 2013 @ 01:03 pm. I left a message on the vet's answering machine. She is supposed to call to do a follow up sometime today, even though she is off, so hopefully she can give me some insights over the phone. I've been trying to get at least 2ml of water into him every 30 minutes, in case it is lingering medication, to try and help flush it out. I just talked to my vet on the...

Tha gliocas an ceann an fhitich. I purged my friends-list today of inactive journals, journals I'm not mutual friends with (that aren't art journals or communities), and anyone who did not respond to the "Do You Read My Journal? Fool for April - Black Coyote Over the Moon

Fool for April - Black Coyote Over the Moon. 01 April 2012 @ 03:34 pm. Its been a relaxing spring. Life has found a steady pace. Art is flowing, and its always nice to feel like things are getting done. Ket was away for FWA while I stayed home to watch dogs and sketch out more of the next Nordguard book. Apparently, it was an amazing convention, so Ill pretend that Home-Con 2012 was equally as epic (it was actually a little dull.). This was just a very bizarre sunset. We watched it while we grilled.

New York: the Forest, the University, and the City - Black Coyote Over the Moon. 17 October 2011 @ 11:02 pm. New York: the Forest, the University, and the City. I have seen more than I remember, and remember more than I have seen.” – Benjamin Disraeli. We spent the last week or so in New York, visiting old friends, meeting new folks, geeking out about animals and comics, drinking mead, getting our eyelids checked for bugs by a starling, and having a very good time. Ket ran to the washroom while I waited ...
