Most of the poetry I write is humorous, but every once in a while I get serious. In 2005 I won the Grand Prize in the Half Price Books Bedtime Storybook contest for a poem called. As I got older, I got pretty good at writing funny poems for special occasions. I wrote for my daughter’s second grade Challenge Math group. When I was six, I wrote my first poem, called The Seasons. We were blessed to eat a delicious hungarian meal made by two friends who were visiting us in Germany. Nori (girlfriend of Janos.a hungarian baseball player for the Atomics) and her friend Auggie got to stay in the girls apartment for a week before they returned to Hungary.
