Recent news - December 2013. Gate vandalism and Fly tipping. December - Gate vandalised, again. Over the Christmas period and for the second time in 2013 our main gate has been vandalised. We say - vandalised - but that's being kind, as on both occasions the damage to the gate and the associated furniture leads us to believe it was a concerted attempt to gain illegal access to the park. Apologies for the quality of the photos, it was nearly dark and raining heavily when they were taken.

Originally formed in 1980 as Aldershot Aldershot Historical and Archaeological Society (AHAS), it was renamed in 2013 to the Aldershot History Society to make it more relevant to the interests of the membership. Work parties are usually held in the park on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month from 1:30pm onwards (12:30 in the winter, see below), but do check with the task date calendar below first.
