A Week of Orchestra Music. This has been a nice week of music! Gavin performed with his orchestra at a festival on Monday and then on Thursday they had their end of year concert. We drove to Corning in 1 day. We stopped at an Applebee's for dinner about an hour or so out of Corning. The food was fine we had a ridiculously long wait for Tanner's plain hamburger. It was so crazy and they kept trying to fix it but it took about 3-4 tries to finally bring him our a hamburger patty on a bun! Anyway, we got some free desserts out of it! It was dark when we left our house and it was dark when we got to Francie and Mike's house - a very long day! We just hung out and visited. We stopped ...

Suit Shopping for the Wedding. And yet another reason I'm so happy to be a mom of sons - shopping for a wedding! We went shopping yesterday morning to get suits for our handsome groom-to-be, Gavin and Russ. Tanner already got his suit with his missionary clothing shopping. Finding suits for all of them was sooo easy! By the way, this was a totally different experience than trying to find a dress for me to wear to the wedding! We found great looking suits for all of them. Good times!

Wednesday, January 14, 2009. On January 13th, Raymond and I went with our good friends Mike and Taralie to see Celine Dion in concert in Nashville! We had been looking forward to this since last January, and we were not disappointed! Celine puts on a fabulous show! Before the show, we went to dinner at the Old Spaghetti Factory. It was the 40th anniversary of Old Spaghetti Factory. So the meals were 40 percent off! It was definitely a bargain of a meal! The concert was definitely worth the wait!

When we went to Sacrament for a work conference for Brett, Braden loved the Thomas the Trains play area at the train museum. He didn't need to see all the for real, big trains. Thursday, April 11, 2013. We had a very fun joint Young Men/Young Women activity last night! My daughter found this great idea on Sugar Doodle: TV Commercial Activity. We decided to make a few of our own as well. The ones we made were: Magic Monson Matches, Ammon's Fencing Academy, and Apricot Tree Popcorn. The youth had such a great time at this activity.
