Tuesday, October 7, 2008. Maddox had his first birthday last week. I can't believe how quickly this year has passed. We had such a fun day. He really ate up all the attention. Grandma and Grandpa came to town and spoiled him rotten. He loved opening his presents. although I think he was more interested in the wrapping paper. I made him a Maddox-size, semi-healthy carrot cake. I think his favorite part was having us sing to him. What a huge smile! We really had never seen him smile so big. He is so cute!
