All things Korea: 2 jobs, 2 gyms, 2 months away from Asia...

http://laurainkorea1.blogspot.com/2014/11/2-jobs-2-gyms-2-months-away-from-asia.html

My life in Korea. Saturday, 8 November 2014. 2 jobs, 2 gyms, 2 months away from Asia. So, I didn't make the right decision with the job. it was so not right for me! I guess that's what happens when you find a house and a job in a week! One out of two aint bad! I realised after the second day of training that I wasn't going to like the job - but I decided to keep going. So I had to leave training half way throughout the day (Seeyabyeeeee) and the next thing I know, I have my old job back! I'm not used to ...

All things Korea: A month away from Asia...

http://laurainkorea1.blogspot.com/2014/10/a-month-away-from-asia.html

My life in Korea. Saturday, 11 October 2014. A month away from Asia. This month has flown by - I found a job, found and paid for a new place to live (then debated if I'd actually made the right decision - Switzerland - why do you do these things to me? And visited friends in Newcastle, Manchester and Switzerland! It's good to be reunited! I move into my new house tomorrow and then start working the Monday after. Urgh, not ready to get back to this real life work (luckily it's only for 3 months! Being bac...

All things Korea: April 2014

http://laurainkorea1.blogspot.com/2014_04_01_archive.html

My life in Korea. Wednesday, 2 April 2014. March - Triple Birthday weekend, St Patrick's Day / Holi Hai and a rainy hike! 1 year, 7 months). March came around farrrr too quickly. This winter was a lot nicer than last years winter, so we were able to do a lot more things instead of just hibernating after school! As happy as I am about that, (I was really not looking forward to another Korean winter) it meant that March appeared, the start of the new semester, before I felt fully ready for it! We had a 'Pa...

My life in Korea. Wednesday, 20 November 2013. It's that time of year again.let's get excited about VACATION! 50 days to go! Okkkk so it's maybe still 7 weeks away. but it's getting cold and we have a long semester ahead with no long weekends so winter vacation planning makes me happy! My life in Korea. Monday, 1 December 2014. November - 3 months back, 2 months left. I have basically felt like a vampire this month. Daylight? What even is that? I have been leaving for work in the dark, leaving work when it's dark, going to the gym then home to bed! I have still managed to fit in some fun weekends in my routine life. We ate amazing food and I ate soo much cake so I was very happy! I then hungoverly made a rocky road house the next day. I have been on the ball with the gym lately (althou...

Maggie Moo Does Korea. Monday, March 3, 2014. First Day Back: GIF Style. Walking in the teachers room in my new "skinny" dress. My co-teacher and I running past "teacher x" to be reunited! When my co-teacher told me her diet consisted of coffee and ONE. Piece of fruit daily. Looking forward to an interesting semester! BELTA - Bla...

So I thought I should take a moment to say, Thank you, Asia! 1 The extremely affordable and delicious local food. 3 The easy vacations. My heating is so cheap and seriously, Korea you are genius. Maggie Moo Does Korea: F**K Yeah, Korea

http://maggiemoodoeskorea.blogspot.com/2014/04/fk-yeah-korea.html

Maggie Moo Does Korea. Monday, April 21, 2014. F* K Yeah, Korea. Living in Korea for almost 2 years, I now tend to take a lot of things for granted. This week I thought it would be a good idea to give thanks with a weekly series called F* K yeah Korea. 1 Pancake Original Story. 261-6 Hannam-dong, Yongsan-gu. So this place was totally superior to any Western Brunch place I've encountered in Itaewon. It's Korean owned and yummy. The menu was simple, easy to order and delicious! View my complete profile.

Lessons I Would Teach My Daughter. 1 Don't feel obligated to be "feminine," but don't be afraid to embrace your femininity (whatever that means to you). 2 Support other women! Maggie Moo Does Korea. Friday, December 6, 2013. Madiba, My Single Greatest Teacher. I knew of Nelson Mandela. S greatness, years before a rugby ball ever touched my hands. I don. T have many memories of my youth, but I remember the day Nelson Mandela got out of prison (at least I think I do). I was 3. Laurainka

Toine...
