Friday, January 7, 2011. I'm a big girl now! Well we finally bit the bullet and converted Audrey's crib to a toddler bed. Actually we did this in October, but I'm a little behind in my posts. I must admit that I had serious doubts about converting her so early. She wasn't showing any signs of trying to escape her crib and I really liked her being contained! Anyways, she loves it and I like it too! Audrey's big girl bed! This was Audrey's view when she walked into her bedroom. Hmmmmmm, this is different.

Our family went to the Southwest Museum to take family pictures. After it was over, I took a few random pictures while everyone played.. Papa, Nana and Caleb sitting in front of the eagle. Friday, January 22, 2010. No pictures on this update. We haven't gotten the camera out very much. I'm actually not even sure where the camera is! Anyway, Audrey has been sick the last week. She picked up a cold either at MDO. Or church. Actually, it could have been anywhere, I shouldn't just point fingers at only two places! That was a treat! She is growing like a weed! My mom and I stumbled upon Matter Park in Marion the last time she was here. Since this was the last day in the 70's this year, we went back today since it was so much fun. I actually did not take pictures of the kids at the park, but I took some of them playing in the leaves before we left. Caleb is never happy when daddy makes him do something, like take a picture. Although Caleb was really mad he had to take a picture with daddy, he still loves him very much! Love, love, love my son!

International and History Night. Our homeschool group had their annual International and History Night. Aylah and her bff Sequoia chose to do a board on Peru, since that is where their daddies went for a mission trip last November. We came home one day and Aylah spent the entire afternoon collecting leaves and piling them in the fire pit so her and daddy could have a big fire! I couldn't believe how good of a job she did. I love taking pictures of the girls opening presents because it's so neat to go back and remember where things came from. Aylah was very excited about her presents this year. It was love at first sight when Aylah opened up her puppy. Grace immediately found her big ole' bear full of animal cookies. The Helton's gave Aylah a basket full of Mountain Dew and some delicious snacks, plus a new toothbrush to make sure she doesn't get any cavities after eating all that candy. Gracie is giving daddy "the look".
