Ninety five years ago a young woman named Effie Hotchkiss decided she wanted to travel coast to coast. With an “anything is possible” attitude she and her mother Avis set out to do just that on a 1915 Harley Davidson. On the bike they carried a jar of water from the Atlantic Ocean, and intended to dump it into the Pacific when they arrived. They did. DAY 16 - The LAST DAY!
