Thursday, February 23, 2012. Teaching at Fundacion Sierra Flor. I arrived at Fundacion Sierra Flor on Monday February 6th, and was immediately tossed into things! I shadowed the Spanish math teacher for all of Monday and Tuesday, planned Wednesday, and started teaching classes of my own Thursday. And boy, it is tough! Monday, December 19, 2011. Living in New Orleans. In addition to the experience in building, lowernine helped me make some incredible friends. We lived in a tiny, tiny volunteer house. There are three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen/living area in one, and a small office. And I believe at one point there were 22 people living in the house. Every bedroom has 6-8 beds (bunks).
