Sunday, July 24, 2011. Memorial Day in Maine. Another awesome trip, and it is about time I posted about it! Patrick had never been camping and I wanted to show him how much fun it can be. So we invested in a ton of camping gear and booked a site on the coast of Maine in Cape Neddick. We stayed at Dixon's Campground, which I highly recommend. Tuesday, June 21, 2011. Boston with the Boy. In late April, Patrick took me to Boston for an overnight. We went to a Mariners v Red Sox game at Fenway Park. Stayed at an awesome hotel, and toured the city. We arrived Saturday evening around 5, checked into our hotel, and then navigated the T to Fenway Park. The game was fantastic! Anyhow the M's won! Thursday, August 25, 2011. Eatin' Good: Around Town. Being in the Hampton's for work for the entire month has it's perks. Probably the best one in my mind, is that I am surrounded by delicious cuisine. Here's a look at what I've been eating around town since I arrived:. In Amagansett, has fabulous coffee, if you are anywhere near the east end of long island, you need to make a pit stop. or there's there Manhattan location too. Some good lunch spots in Sag Harbor. Some Dinner spots I've enjoyed all over.

Sunday, March 6, 2011. The Best Trip Ever. At the end of February, I skipped a week of school, and took a much needed vacation from work, to spend a week home in Seattle, with my family. We had to design an open Kitchen and Dining Room, and a Bathroom for a young couple, in a federal style row house. Tuesday, August 16, 2011. Playing at the Beach. We have also been collecting a lot of shells, horse-shoe crab skeletons, little pieces of driftwood, etc. Jinx loves lifting up the rocks and digging in the muck to see what she can find. The other day she decided to paint her entire body with the mucky sand and then wobble over to the waters edge to splash around and rinse off. Today the air feels light and crisp like the fall! We'll see what fun we can find this week! I had an awesome couple of days off :).
