Randomness, ramblings, and the facts of life. Today Bella met the harpist from The Augusta Symphony, Vonda Darr. What an experience for my sweet girl. Vonda told Bella that she was six when she started playing the harp and Bella thought that was SO cool. She gave Bella the chance to play the instrument for a few minutes before the 3rd graders came in…I think Bella even got a little too comfortable for a few minutes! Randomness, ramblings, and the facts of life. I had 2 photoshoots on saturday and the girls waited patiently on me to finish my last one. Since they were such good listeners, I told them we would go eat where ever they wanted…and they chose Chik-fil-A! So, we went to the Chik-fil-A on Washington Road in Augusta (this is a BIG shout out to a wonderful dinner! When we walked in, there was a server holding the door open…I noticed it was “Daddy/Daughter Night” and I forgot all about it! 8221; And she DID!

Randomness, ramblings, and the facts of life. I have been reading about people starting to “juice” for health. I thought I would give it a try. I always feel tired and just have the feeling of “blah”. We have had a juicer for a while but never put it to use. Yesterday I decided to see for myself what it was all about. I bought some basics: carrots, celery, cucumber, green apple, and banana. My first attempt was banana, apple, and cucumber. (I was just kind of making it up as I went along). Keep up with me.

I had six months of unemployment (without unemployment pay) to get very strongly acquainted with money saving techniques. One was to carry scraps of paper around, write down anything I use regularly or anticipate needing soon, and stop at every grocery store I pass. I made a rule never to drive more than 1/4 mile out of my way, so I wouldn't waste gas. What if there are other factors, such as hidden food allergens?
