This exercise utilized the masking feature in photoshop to selectively color or de-color an image. Here is the original full photo:. Scanner Collages: This one was created completely out of scanned doll parts and a plaster picture frame. I photographed a box and set it in as a sort of shadowbox. Collage with scanned images. Eye in the map. These are the two environmental collages. I’m not as happy with them, but did apply some shadows, strokes, perspectives and color changes to make them look interesting.
