Kaikoura Wildlife – Kaylas Kiwi Adventure
https://kaylaskiwiadventure.wordpress.com/2015/10/05/kaikoura-wildlife
My experiences while travelling around the amazing country of New Zealand. If I could go again, I would either do it in summer, when orca sightings are higher, or winter, when the humpbacks are passing through. We did get to catch up with the dusky dolphins again, they were playful as ever, always a delight 🙂. Apologies for the photos, they are just too fast! Also saw a lot of birdlife, including my favourite seabirds, albatross:. Thank you once again Kaikoura, always an unforgettable experience. You ar...

My experiences while travelling around the amazing country of New Zealand. Aoraki and Tasman Glacier. After waking up in a boiling hot tent, with beautiful weather outside, we headed away from Lake Tekapo and further into the mountains to Aoraki/Mt Cook National Park. Moeraki Madness – Kaylas Kiwi Adventure
https://kaylaskiwiadventure.wordpress.com/2015/08/09/moeraki-madness
My experiences while travelling around the amazing country of New Zealand. This morning we took a nice Sunday drive from Oamaru to the famous Moeraki boulders. We had the tide working against us, with high tide at 9am, and we got there about 11am. The tide was still too high really, but we did see them! It just meant getting wet feet from the sneaky waves 😛. Very happy to have ticked this New Zealand must do off my list! Click to share on Twitter (Opens in new window). August 9, 2015. We travelled down to a little town called Oamaru on Saturday morning; first thing on the agenda… Steam Punk! Oamaru is known as the steam punk capital of NZ and it is easy to see why! There are bits and pieces dotted all around the town, you get the feeling that the town has definitely embraced this accolade 🙂. Click to share on Twitter (Opens in new window).

My experiences while travelling around the amazing country of New Zealand. To the South Island! This is a bit of a random way to start this entry… But steak in a camper! Very impressed with the head chef 😀 Yesterday we zoomed into Wellington for a brief visit, instantly fell in love with the Capital, in particular the harbour. https://kaylaskiwiadventure.wordpress.com/2015/08/09/snowboarding-mt-hutt
My experiences while travelling around the amazing country of New Zealand. Snowboarding, Mt Hutt. We made it up the mountain to do some snowboarding on Friday. We both took the day off work, so all week I was constantly checking the weather forecast and hoping for the best… Checked the status of the mountain on Friday morning and we were good to go! We met up for lunch and met some friendly Kea (a large alpine Parrot species), they are gorgeous birds and so cheeky! Share on Facebook (Opens in new window).
