Monday, 6 April 2009. Thursday’s lecture about drugs initiated the debate as to whether or not drugs, especially hallucinogenic and amphetamine drugs should be legalised? On the other hand legalising drugs could cause a drug epidemic and increase the likelihood of future generations becoming drug addicts. I think there are a number of pros and cons for this idea. Although some people may disagree. With me, drugs are dangerous and can kill you, especially drugs like ecstasy and cocaine.

The research that has been carried out over the past few years is still yet to be 100% conclusive. There is suggestion, however, that aggressive behaviour increases in children. I completely agree with Laura in that kid's should not be allowed to play 18 rated games. However, this has been somewhat difficult for me to do as I have a son of 9 and my partner has a son of 12 who is allowed to play whatever games he likes! Do I ban my son playing the games? Tell him he can't be in the same room?
