Thursday, March 14, 2013. Griffin just finished up his first play. Hopefully it won't be his last! He played Thomas Edison. The entire play was about great American Heroes. The rehearsals were twice a week for about two months. Griff loved his costume (church clothes with a bowtie) and now wears it every Sunday. Monday, June 9, 2014. Yep, I'm still stuck in 2013! Well, the blog is at least. I have missed blogging, and I realized our family journal is suffering. Wednesday, May 29, 2013. 6th graders no more. Miles, Caleigh, and Asia. There were games,food, swimming, and general poolside fun. I was so impressed with how well behaved all the kids were. Thursday, June 6, 2013. Elliot's class had a Teddy Bear picnic for their end of the year Celebration. All the kids were invited to bring a Teddy bear from home. We had pb&j sandwiches fruit and you candy bar cars with little teddy bear drivers! Elliot is such a home body that school was a little tough adjusting to. Friday, November 30, 2012. Marc and I have been on a John Bytheway kick lately. I feel like I listen to him all the time now. I find myself wanted to be a better person after listening to him and I like that. I have also started listening to the Mormon Channel app on my phone. Lately I have been listening to the October General Conference talks and talk about power! I also use it as a way to "read" my scriptures. I find this is a tool in my life that brings me happiness and peace. Walking By the Temple.
