Tuesday, June 19, 2012. I have spent the last 5 months working on the costumes for our 6 Stake Dance Festival. It was probably one of the most difficult things I have ever done. Luckily, I didn't have to do it by myself. I had loads of people helping with it. Here are a few of the stats. Thank you to all of you who helped! Sewing hours- 4400 hrs. Stake Costume Chairs and assistants 600 hrs x 6 = 3600 hrs. Costume Chairperson = 800 hrs. Total hours by Costume committee = 8,850 hrs. Fan Dance - China.

Monday, July 18, 2011. My crazy husband was "inspired", "motivated", etc. to run 50 miles. I like to think he just "lost his mind" but this is nothing new to me. As soon as he has done something to make me think he can't get any crazier, he comes up with something else. His other friend Cody came down to run the last 20 miles with BJ. Laura's Lilliput | A Place To Go Wild

A Place To Go Wild. Raced hermit crabs with the other guests. Snorkled around the reef. Tried fresh coconut, then played bowling with some of the others that littered the island floor. Took a day trip to the old capital city where we bought some snacks and had a yummy chicken curry. Walked around the village (the only other thing on the island) and learnt how they cooked the lovo and had a kava ceremony and watched a traditional dance. Kayaking in the rain.
