Stamp Like A Moose: Birthday gift for Teacher
http://catestamps.blogspot.com/2009/07/birthday-gift-for-teacher.html
Stamp Like A Moose. Wednesday, July 8, 2009. Birthday gift for Teacher. I was trying to come up with something new (well, for me) to give Anwyn's teacher for her birthday so decided on a little post-it-note holder and matching pen. Of course, it will be completely eclipsed by the chocolate covered fruit Anwyn insisted she needed, but it's the thought that counts ;-). Parisian Breeze paper was put into the pen barrel to match the post-it holder. Accessories - where do I start? July 10, 2009 at 6:23 PM.

Stamp Like A Moose. Sunday, May 31, 2009. Birthday part 2 - Moose anyone? I think I may have mentioned before that we are very fond of Moose in our family. Our daughters are affectionately know as Princess Moosarella and Missy Moose. We have Moose calendars, books about Moose, Moose bath towels. you get the idea. So, is it really any wonder that I am just a tiny bit addicted to Riley and Sophie Moose stamps? Perfume Sophie (Hanna Stamps), Short and Sweet (Stampin'Up! Markers (blended using aqua painter).

Stamp Like A Moose: Nouveau Chic is sooooo pretty
http://catestamps.blogspot.com/2009/07/nouveau-chic-is-sooooo-pretty.html
Stamp Like A Moose. Tuesday, July 7, 2009. Nouveau Chic is sooooo pretty. This really is the most stunning paper I have seen. I didn't want to draw the attention away from it by stamping an image so stuck with the sentiment. I was even dithering about whether to add the sage embossed piece as the paper would truly stand on it's own. I may have to make a set of these cards as a gift so I can have some with just the paper. Sage Shadow, Basic grey. Nouveau Chic DP. Labels: Elegant Bouquet embossing folder.

Sunday, October 18, 2009. Aunt Mary's Birthday Afghan. Here's another afghan I just finished. It's twice as wide as you see in the picture. This was made from 'I Love This Yarn' also. It is the Country Blue and Sierra Stripe. The block is the 12 inch Bold Square block from this website. http:/ dayna.tdgservices.com/Patterns.aspx. I joined this one the same way that Kennedy's was done with the flat braid joining. Here is Aunt Mary with her afghan last Sunday. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Sunday, July 19, 2009. Here is Jack with the first potatos from the garden! The garden is doing really good. The zuchinni are doing terrific too! This weekend I was able to put up 12 jars of pickle relish and 4 jars of zuchinni relish. Earlier in the week we froze 12 quarts of chopped zuchinni. Here's Mom with one of the zuchinni. She's been a big help to Jack in the garden. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Learn to Crochet - Free Instructions and Patterns. How to #Crochet a Shell Hat - #CrochetGeek.

Mommashappy's World: Kennedy's Afghan
http://mommashappycrochet.blogspot.com/2009/10/kennedys-afghan.html
Sunday, October 18, 2009. Kennedy's afghan is finished. I made it from Hobby Lobby's 'I Love This Yarn' and it turned out really well. It's made from the same block pattern throughout and I'll put a link to the pattern later. I used flat braided joining that I first read about on http:/ www.priscillascrochet.net/freepatterns.html. She has a link to her afghan joining hints. The pattern for the block is also hers, Flower Burst. You'll find a link on her blog. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Tuesday, September 8, 2009. Colonial Flag Afghan for Lindsey. I thought I would post this picture of the afghan that I made for my wonderful daughter-in-law, Lindsey. It was based on a pattern in a Leisure Arts book though it does have some changes. She decorates in Americana and my son wanted me to make it with 13 stars instead of the 50 that the original pattern included. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Colonial Flag Afghan for Lindsey.
