After reading a blog post by author Chris Nicholas this morning, I found myself thinking about one of the age-old questions of human existence…How did I get here? Now, I don’t mean creation vs. evolution, or anything like that. My thinking was much more inward-looking. Of a creative work could be wrong, or that. Had to follow a particular format, but I went along with it as best I could and did some extra credit to bring my failing grade to a passing one (barely).

It's my son, my very own. The love I feel for him is so powerful it makes me ache in a way that seems incredible. It's high time I write my birth story down, or I know I'll never do it. So here goes!
