Tell all the Truth, but tell it slant-. Thursday, August 20, 2009. Wasn't I meant to be upper crust? Today I was going through a box of old pictures in the storeroom when I ran across a very funny letter that I wrote years and years ago that someone (my mom) kindly had saved. As you you shall soon see, it is by no means based in reality, but rather a product of a child's very active imagination. With Tenderest of Regards,. Tell me, wasn't I meant to live the life of a filthy rich socialite?

Tell all the Truth, but tell it slant-. Monday, January 19, 2009. On Friday, I went to the Walden Books going-out-of-business sale (Thanks, Janice! I didn't go expecting to find much, but $50 and 20 big, beautiful hardback books later, I was feeling deliriously happy. I can't decide whether I'm more thrilled with the oversized coffee table books, the special edition read-aloud children's books, or the classics I picked up. Here is an itemized list of my purchases (try not to be too jealous):. My very fav...

Really, I think I'll just let the pictures do the talking for this post. The boys were in heaven- I mean, how could one go wrong, with fire, walking sticks, mud, boulders, wide flat rocks to picnic on, and rushing rivers to wade in? The whole thing was a bit Lord of the Flyish but very fun. Back to civilization with two days worth of dirt to scrub off! Todd fle...
