I mean, don't get me wrong - my Autumn-lovin' heart is ready for sweater weather, hometown football games, and excessive coffee drinking.however, this summer has been delightfully charming and I'm not ready to write "August" anything! Speaking of magnificent.did you see the full blue moon last night? My balcony is not painted yet (I've only been asking management for 19 months - but WHO IS COUNTING? Do you ever have a day off that as the day progresses, it feels extremely laid back and fabulous but then at the end of that very same day - as you replay the events - you realize that you actually were quite productive? Today was that kind of day for me. Went to see Missy for a haircut. Drove to Freeport to go to the Stephenson County Fair. Viewed all the animals at said fair. Went to Higher Grounds for air conditioning and an iced decaf coffee. Talked to my brother for 2 hours.

Sunday, July 12, 2015. 1 I was probably in 3rd or 4th grade. It was Easter Sunday. My mom had sewn me a drop-waist white with pink vertical stripes jumper. As we were walking in to church, a grasshopper jumped on to the skirt part of my dress. I didn't notice it until after church had started. I nearly had a stroke at the Quaker church. Thursday, July 2, 2015. Three confessions of your choice. 1 – During my college breaks, I waitressed at an ice cream place called The Parlour (aka Jackson Dairy). This job was delightful because no two days were the same. One day I would waitress and the next I would be the sundae maker. My favorite job assignment was waitressing – tips! My second favorite was scooping takeout. The ice cream was made on-site at a plant in the back. Chocolate peanut butter was my absolute favorite. Busy times = great tips!

Friday, July 3, 2015. It was one of THOSE days. Have you ever had one of THOSE days? 160; I am sure you have which comforts me to know that I am not alone. It wasn't even that it was a dreadful day, it is just that in the matter of 20 minutes, well, things digressed at such a rapid rate. Tuesday, July 14, 2015. Baking soda.not POW-DER. Oh brother. This whole week has been one kitchen / baking conundrum after another. *Exaggeration* There have been 2. . First - this week I learned that it is not enough to rinse the knife blade that cuts an onion. The onion juices are more powerful than water.thus leaving the fresh cut pineapple with a hint o'onion.
