Leave a comment ». The term started for mothers and miracles today, and I drove Vivi and I there myself, which is a big deal. Michael took my mom’s colt, which is currently living in our garage, to work so that Viv and I could use our car, which has the baby seat it. So I got up at eight, pulled the car out of the carport, got myself and Vivi’s stuff ready and then woke her at about twenty to nine. Quick nappy change and bottle, and we were ready to roll. All is all, very successful. Oh and Vivi interact...

Archive for December 2013. First letter to my precious little one. Well, here we are, nearly finished with the first trimester, you and I. We don’t know yet if you are a boy or a girl. But daddy and I have had a boy name and girl name picked out since just after we got married, twelve years ago. If you are a girl, you will be Vivian. And if you are a boy, your name will be Luke. Little one, I was planning to try for a baby sometime in the new year. I was planning to go off my medicine so it would be ...

I wasn’t really planning on blogging, but Vivi Rose was so cute today she leaves me no choice🙂. Firstly, she said bye-bye to her daddy when he left for work after lunch, accompanied by a wave. Three times she said it. Then she said it to me later, when I did a pretend departure. And she said it to her grandparents when they left after their visit this evening. And called out an extra “Bye” after them as they went out the door🙂. Lately there have been some ‘baba’s and ‘dada’s too. Today, when daddy got ...

Archive for March 2014. It has been a really tough week, with my eyes being heavily impacted by the MS. My eye muscles are strained and my vision is weak. It sucks and stresses me out. I can’t take corticosteroids. Well, I can, but it would be pretty ill-advised. And I can’t take my usual homeopathic remedy, as it’s not safe during pregnancy. Luckily, it does seem to be getting better (but so s-l-o-w-l-y). March 26, 2014 at 8:35 pm. Feeling somewhat more delighted with life today :-). When I wake up in t...

Archive for October 2014. 3 months old today. In honour of Vivienne’s three month anniversary, I decided to start up my blog again. I have so much to share, all of it very good at this point. I survived the pregnancy, obviously, although it was pretty rough going. Not something I am going to repeat in a hurry. Or ever. But I am SO glad I did it. So glad it happened; so glad this little angel was sent to us. I have never been happier in my life. But at least we are back online. October 17, 2014 at 10:49 pm.

Archive for February 2014. I am still enjoying the pregnancy enormously. Haven’t felt the first movements yet but the pregnancy books and websites assure me that up until 22 weeks is fine, and if you still haven’t felt anything, to ask your doctor. I’m so excited, though, to feel her little flutterings and kicks,. We have pretty much settled on a name: Vivienne Rose. We are going to pronoince it in the usual way, Vi-vee-un and not the French way. I’ll update tomorrow, for record keeping purposes. Later, ...
