Monday, 20 May 2013. I have now completed 7 shoots for my documentary. It has been a challenge to achieve the type of images I was hoping for. A large variety of difficult lighting conditions has been very interesting to work with. However i do feel I now have a wide range of images to chose from. The hard part will now be selecting the images to tell my story. Below I am going to post some sample images from each shoot. This was mainly a quick product shoot after I met the Gatbi girls.

Thursday, 11 April 2013. I came across this video while looking for some inspiration for my documentary images. Even though it is a video I love the detailed imagery. It shows the process beautifully and gives you the idea of how much work goes into "hand made" items. Friday, 5 April 2013. Here are some images showing the screen printing process, I will try to get some similar types of shots. It looks like it can get a bit messy. But alot of fun colourful mess! Thursday, 6 June 2013. Wednesday, 5 June 2013. My Final Selection of Images to chose from. I used two soft boxes infront of Kiah with the left hand one above head height and angled downwards towards her, the right slightly lower and directly angled towards her. I also had a large silver refelector on the Left Hand side with a single light in behind directly on the white background. I am very happy with my lighting set up, I was able to acheive the simple fresh look I was going for. Thursday, 23 May 2013.
