Or else, what? Friday, June 3, 2011. Link: The Process Of Leaving. Lauren, who recently found my blog and contacted me, is now writing at The Process Of Leaving. About her process in leaving the church. I think that readers of this blog may find her account interesting; she's describing how she feels as she has conversations with people that are important to her as she leaves. I don’t want to belong to any club that would accept me as one of its members. Saturday, October 29, 2005. I used to be a sports-fan; not a huge one, just a fan. But in the past several years, my distaste for sports fans has grown. One of the girls on the opposing team got mad, and after the game, one of the parents got the girls in a circle (where the one girl was now crying) and repeated "He was wrong, he was wrong.". They say that breaking up is hard to do . . . remember that old song? Well, leaving HP feels a little bit like breaking up. I remember a relationship that I had with a girl during high school. We dated for a whole school year, then she went back to the states (from Japan where we were living at the time) for the summer. Posted by Doug at 7:54 PM. Saturday, July 23, 2005.

Yesterday, I was coming home from school, waiting at the Corvallis Downtown bus terminal. I was earlier than usual, so I was going to catch the :15 after bus to go home. I immediately called 911 while I tried to comfort her and get help from somebody with a rag, or towel. I asked the girl her name, and she told me "Nancy." Nancy is slightly mentally retarded, b...Very ...

I don’t want to belong to any club that would accept me as one of its members. Friday, February 17, 2006. It's the middle of Winter Term, with only 5 weeks to go. So far, things have been going pretty well, inspite of the (for me) heavy load. I am learning (no pun intended) how to study better, since a poor mid-term score in Anatomy and Physiology.
