Living in a halfway house. It’s been three weeks since my miscarriage. I had to count on the calendar to be sure because it feels like a lifetime ago. In a way, it was a previous life. Here in the New Normal. And maybe I’m even feeling happy at that particular minute. So when I see someone coming towards me looking sad I quickly think, “why are they looking at me like that?
