Lauren’s Lavender Farm offers you a range of local activities including an amazing bush walk down to the famous Whanganui River where the Taumarunui Jet Boat and canoeists call in for some food and a nice hot coffee. There are 87 steps down to the landing on the river and two lovely waterfalls. The river was the only access in those days and the house boats ran the final stretch of the river through to Taumarunui. Also at night on our walkway there are glowworms.
