BaNana Marge: October 2009
http://margewalsh.blogspot.com/2009_10_01_archive.html
Living with Primary Peritoneal Cancer (PPC). Friday, October 16, 2009. Six weeks since I last wrote and more test and lab work. Yesterday was a huge day for celebration; the news is good, I continue in Remission, 3 months and counting. YEAH! My CA 125 remains at 9. It is awesome I have remained at 9 without upward movement. Treatment is definitely working. I receive treatment approximately every 3 weeks through July 2010. Enjoy Halloween with all the little trick or treaters. That is the news for now.

Tall Lady on a Bike: Day 15: Eureka, CA
http://tallladyonabike.blogspot.com/2012/10/day-15-eureka-ca.html
Tall Lady on a Bike. Wednesday, October 10, 2012. Day 15: Eureka, CA. I finally ventured out for lunch and met several of my fellow riders at the local Whole Foods equivalent, where we all gravitated independently, for sandwiches. After an afternoon of alone time I was ready to enjoy the company of five other women for dinner at a very fine local eatery, Avalon. Despite only knowing each other for two weeks, we had lots of laughs. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. Day 6: Long ...

The views of the city from Alcatraz are spectacular. Andrew joined us for dinner at a favorite restaurant in Chinatown. It was just wonderful to have both kids join me to celebrate my passage through San Francisco. 3/4 of the family. We miss you Dad! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. Tall Lady on a Bike. Thursday, October 11, 2012. Day 16: Eureka, CA to Garberville, CA. Farms continued to dot the landscape as well as obvious signs of the driving force of the economy of this area- the lumber industry. Toward the end of the day I paralleled the Eel River for quite some distance. I am completely exhausted- probably should have done less than 80- so will need to adjust my day tomorrow accordingly. Tall Lady on a Bike: Day 28: Ventura, CA
http://tallladyonabike.blogspot.com/2012/10/day-28-ventura-ca.html
Tall Lady on a Bike. Tuesday, October 23, 2012. Day 28: Ventura, CA. This dramatic and challenging ride ended with a dinner to give everyone a final opportunity to share stories and many laughs. Carol, one of our four very competent SAG drivers, reminded us that the end was near when she read this poem a couple of dinners ago:. 33 Women out on a trek, let's ride to Ventura, yea, what the heck. We bonded quickly didn't take long. What won't kill you makes you strong. Nancy, Caroline, and Alberta Jean, ple...
