Monday, August 17, 2015. I rarely get a chance to cook without Silas helping these days. I'm pretty sure his favorite toys in the whole house are the can opener and the toaster. Plus, I think he has learned that helping gets him snacks before dinner and the occasional treat. I love seeing Silas move into the "pretend play" stage. Monday, July 6, 2015. Our patriotic snacks included but were not limited to. Pancakes (that's a minnie mouse if you can't tell). And red, white and blue layered drinks. On Friday, Silas was just the cutest little thing lighting a firecracker and then running for his life. Tuesday, June 30, 2015. I do think this bobble-head helmet look is adorable. As is the third base coach. It's been so fun having Bo, Henry, and Naomi all on the same team. Leah especially loves it because she gets to play in the dust with her besties for an hour. I wanted to take a picture to document this three across arrangement. Monday, July 13, 2015. Silas hit the 18 month mark this month. I can hardly believe he is so big already! Overall he is the happiest little thing you ever met though he recently is trying his hand at whining and crying to get his way. He still sleeps with a paci and is the best sleeper ever. Monday, August 3, 2015. Leah had her first performance with the kids choir this past week. She makes a fabulous little choir member and increases the cute factor of the overall choir by at least 50%. She really loves going to practice and is always asking if it is "kids choir day" yet. And there's Naomi way down at the end. Looks like she's trying to keep that back row in line. No surprise there. Monday, July 27, 2015. I think there was something like 1500 people running. It was crazy. Silas stayed with us and played in the bubbles while we waited for them to finish. At first he was a little nervous with the foam that threatened to overtake him but he eventually warmed up. Silas' favorite cousin is Sarah. They are just the cutest two little silent partners. Monday, August 10, 2015. Location, location, location. We love the track or, more specifically, the long jump pit. Almost beachy, right? This big hill leads up to the football practice fields and at the bottom there is a tree stump that is perfect for climbing and jumping off. These picnic tables are the best.
