Wendy's Life: Gnocchi with Bacon and Sweet Peas
http://kiss-that-frog.blogspot.com/2010/02/gnocchi-with-bacon-and-sweet-peas.html
Thursday, February 25, 2010. Gnocchi with Bacon and Sweet Peas. I love to watch FoodTV. It's always on at my house (when I can get hold of the remote). So, the other day I saw Aaron McCargo Jr of Big Daddy's House. Make this dish and I knew I wanted to try it. Plus I had some bacon on hand and I rarely have bacon on hand. It turned out really well, and was something that everyone enjoyed. I will say that this is probably not a weight-friendly meal, but it was still good. 1-pound package potato gnocchi.

Wendy's Life: Winner, Winner, Chicken Dinner!
http://kiss-that-frog.blogspot.com/2011/01/winner-winner-chicken-dinner.html
Monday, January 24, 2011. Winner, Winner, Chicken Dinner! I made this quick and easy dinner tonight. Yes, that's a Pillsbury crescent roll on the plate, and yes, that's a store-bought pasta salad. I should mention that I'm fighting a cold that Rominal has shared with both me and Bailey. So, the fact that I made dinner at all should be celebrated. Here's what I did. I didn't measure anything, but it should look like this. I baked the chicken in a 350 degree oven for about 40 minutes, or until it was done.

Wendy's Life: Taco Salad
http://kiss-that-frog.blogspot.com/2011/02/taco-salad.html
Saturday, February 26, 2011. One of my dear friends who I have known since I was in 7th grade came over last night. In honor of Kim's visit, we made something that we used to make all of the time when we were young - Taco Salad. I could kick myself for not taking a picture of Kim to share with you. You will have to believe me when I tell you she still looks like a teenager. Anyway, I've described this dish to adults I know now and at least one person in particular makes fun of it whenever possible. Most ...

Wendy's Life: Kiss That Frog
http://kiss-that-frog.blogspot.com/2008/07/kiss-that-frog.html
Wednesday, July 2, 2008. The song just makes me happy - it's very upbeat and makes me smile. So, when I was trying to come up with a name for my blog, Rominal was giving me suggestions. He asked what my favorite song was and that's how the blog became this. I was thinking about posting the question to see who could figure out where the name came from, but David beat me to it. So - congrats David! You win the satisfaction of having solved the question before it was even asked. Sorry - no cash involved.

Wendy's Life: Pizza Dough
http://kiss-that-frog.blogspot.com/2010/04/pizza-dough.html
Friday, April 9, 2010. The other day I went to lunch at a nice restaurant in Dallas. For an appetizer, we had flat breat with Parmesan cheese and olive oil. It was yummy. So yummy in fact, that I tried to create it again for dinner that night. This wasn't quite the same as what I had at the restaurant, but it was still good. And this was very easy to make as well. I got the original recipe here. 3 cups all-purpose flour. 1 (25 ounce) package active dry yeast. 2 tablespoons vegetable oil. Just sharing ran...

Monday, January 14, 2013. This chicken dinner is so good! And your house will smell wonderful after you make it! This is the second time I've made this, and each time it has turned out fantastic. I mixed together several recipes and this works really well. You must try this. Here's what you need:. 1 (5-6 pound) chicken. I think I'll try a larger bird next time - we don't have any leftovers! 1 stick of butter. 1 tsp lemon pepper seasoning. 1 tsp poultry seasoning (or sage if you don't have that). Time to ...

http://kiss-that-frog.blogspot.com/2011/01/sausage-and-roasted-vegetable-penne.html
Monday, January 3, 2011. Sausage and Roasted Vegetable Penne - Again. Ok - so this is a re-post because I remembered to take pictures the last time I made this dish. It really is quite good, and I want to encourage everyone to try it. My original post was here. This is a recipe by Melissa d'Arabian on Food Network. The original recipe is here. I made a few changes, which I will indicate below:. 1 sweet onion, cut into wedges. 1 medium zucchini, sliced in 1/2 lengthwise. 1 red bell pepper, cheeks removed.

Wendy's Life: Icemageddon and Bridget
http://kiss-that-frog.blogspot.com/2013/12/icemageddon-and-bridget.html
Wednesday, December 11, 2013. Here in the Dallas area, we are just starting to get out of the ice storm called "Icemageddon! It started raining freezing rain/sleet on Thursday, December 5 and we got several inches by Friday morning. On top of that, the temperatures didn't go above freezing for a couple of days - so we were iced in. Here's our house a couple of days after the storm hit. I thought these ice crystals were pretty. Our street is looking more like an ice rink. She Loves. To. Run. About Bridget...

Wendy's Life: Chicken Tortilla Casserole
http://kiss-that-frog.blogspot.com/2010/11/chicken-tortilla-casserole.html
Monday, November 1, 2010. I used to make this dish all of the time, and for some reason I guess I just stopped. The recipe came from my Grandmother and it is quite adaptable. This was the perfect recipe for this adorable set of baking dishes that my friend Melissa gave me for my birthday! I think this is pretty adorable too. Ok - back to the food. I poached 3 boneless, skinless chicken breasts in chicken broth. Chop up your corn tortillas into bite size pieces. Mix it all together. I cover it with foil a...

Wendy's Life: Rosemary Ranch Chicken Kabobs
http://kiss-that-frog.blogspot.com/2010/07/rosemary-ranch-chicken-kabobs.html
Saturday, July 3, 2010. Rosemary Ranch Chicken Kabobs. With the 4th of July being tomorrow, I thought I would share a great grilling recipe. We will be at a family member's house tomorrow, and I will spend today baking tons of cookies to take with us. I made these Rosemary Ranch Chicken Kabobs the other day and they were quite good. I originally made this recipe without cutting the chicken into kabob shapes - just leaving the chicken breasts whole and the marinade was good on that as well. 3Lightly oil t...
