The Grierson Family: November 2011
http://griersonfamilyblog.blogspot.com/2011_11_01_archive.html
Thursday, November 24, 2011. Mark had a client meeting this past Saturday in the Bronx, so we decided to go together and spend a quick weekend in New York. We stayed at a little (very little) hotel right off Herald Square, which is right by Macys, and this is the north side of the Macy's building. She was super friendly and chatted a lot. We had to go into the Toys R Us store at Times Square. It was pretty amazing! We also walked by Radio City and it was just pretty. That night Karene took us all ove the...

The Grierson Family: June 2012
http://griersonfamilyblog.blogspot.com/2012_06_01_archive.html
Sunday, June 10, 2012. This past week was Art City Days, which naturally is the most exciting thing to happen to Springville all year long. (Springville is also known as Art City, because there is a cool old art museum here). The big finale of Art City Days is the fireworks show that happened last night, and to celebrate this fantastic event, we had a pre-fireworks BBQ. Joe, Tara, Holly and Matt and their kids and Jackie and Teddy were here. Tara and Joe (silly Joe.). Kelsey and Joe's eyes. I love the so...

The Grierson Family: September 2012
http://griersonfamilyblog.blogspot.com/2012_09_01_archive.html
Sunday, September 23, 2012. We love fall. We love the colors and love to go find beautiful leaves and bring them home. That's what we did today after the Brigham City Temple dedication. Mark is a much better photographer than I, but somehow I usually get the camera. He got the colors better than I did. I'm talking about the leaves, not Spencer's beautiful blue hair. Even with blue hair, I still like him! Then Spencer found a snake and that always makes for a fun day. A pretty picture place. This is the d...

The Grierson Family: January 2012
http://griersonfamilyblog.blogspot.com/2012_01_01_archive.html
Thursday, January 5, 2012. It's a good thing there are holidays, or I would never take pictures, and never have reason to blog. We had a really fun Christmas this year. Spencer was home, and we decided to go cut down our tree from a farm in Alpine. They only had Blue spruce trees, at least that's all we saw. Have you ever tried to cut down/carry/put in a stand/decorate/water/undecorate/get rid of a Blue Spruce? Jeny's house and some lady holding it up. I love all the pensive looks. We did not have our us...

The Grierson Family: October 2011
http://griersonfamilyblog.blogspot.com/2011_10_01_archive.html
Thursday, October 27, 2011. Carving pumpkins without Mark :(. But we still had fun! Here's what we got. See if you can figure out who did which. Here's a hint. Joe made one, and he likes Jack. Collecting beautiful leaves - in the dark. Tara doing her trademark faerie pose. Tara and Joe on the cool log. All of us on the cool log. The results of our labors. I like it! Wednesday, October 12, 2011. Lookee what I found! Can you believe that was two years? Elder Grierson finally returned home yesterday.

The Grierson Family: Glaciers and other fun stuff
http://griersonfamilyblog.blogspot.com/2013/09/glaciers-and-lakes.html
Saturday, September 7, 2013. Glaciers and other fun stuff. After going to some of the most beautiful places in the world, we decided to go farther north and walk on a glacier. This is the glacier from below. There are three stair to this glacier and we walked on the bottom one. We got there by . . . When we finished riding the bus, the driver told us it was her second tour ever. I'm glad she waited until we were finished driving with her! Here is a view from the glacier. Video of the glacier.

The Grierson Family: March 2011
http://griersonfamilyblog.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html
Thursday, March 10, 2011. Last Day - Back in Nurnburg. Shoot, I think this is still Rothenburg. I'm pretty sure it is, in fact. But we were able to go all the way to the top of this tower in Rothenburg. Here is the tower from the back side. Stairs up a big tower at the back of the city. The most picturesque street in Germany. That's what the guidebook says. Really. And the bridges over the city are really neat. Here we are on the bridge facing the edge of the city, and the castle. This was a great trip!

The Grierson Family: November 2012
http://griersonfamilyblog.blogspot.com/2012_11_01_archive.html
Sunday, November 25, 2012. Thanksgiving at Heidi's House. This year Tara decided to abandon us for some other family, so we decided to go to Heidi's house and have fun without her. I loved the Spencer/Sarah friendship. The size difference is pretty funny! Parkinsons do love to play games! It was just about the only way we could get Rachel to talk, but we did hear words come out of her pretty little mouth! There were, of course, moments of great music. And these girls are the best of friends!

The Grierson Family: August 2013
http://griersonfamilyblog.blogspot.com/2013_08_01_archive.html
Wednesday, August 21, 2013. Ok, I'll do Lake Louise tonight, too. There just aren't good words to describe this part of the world. It's just amazing. This is Lake Louise. This shot shows the water color much better. It's just so beautiful! Here is the world famous (well, our world, anyway) Chateau Lake Louise. I thought the Banff Springs was much more grande, but the lake here makes this the spot of choice. We didn't stay here - super expensive! But we were close enough to come back for a second visit.
