PS One of the great things about Spanish sometimes is that there is just one word to explain something that would require at least a few more words in English…in this case, the word despedida is how you say a going away party, or just a goodbye of any type I suppose. My assignment includes serving as Health/Nutrition Extension and Public Health Education volunteer in the Community Health Program, and I couldn’t be more excited!
