His training was at Northland Polytechnic where he completed the Diploma of Applied Arts, majoring in glass and jewellery. On the completion of his study he continued to work in glass, renting a local glass studio where he developed his own original range of collectable glassware. In 2002 Lynden, Christine and family moved to Taupo and opened Lava Glass.

Tisdag 31 maj 2011. Long time no see Auckland. Det var kanske inte det smartaste beslutet att flyga in och ut fran Auckland (Vi maste ta fargan 2 ganger och aka fram och tillbaka) men det blev anda helt bra till slut eftersom vi akte ner langs vastkusten och upp langs ostkusten. Auckland har vi i alla fall sett, det kan man lugnt saga. Vi har nu sammanlagt varit har i 7 dagar och det ar helt max!
