IANSREDLOG: August 2009
http://ian1961.blogspot.com/2009_08_01_archive.html
For Workers Unity and Socialism. Monday, August 31, 2009. I have been on a short 'intermission' of late. I got a bit tired of blogging to be honest but also got entirely depressed about a number of things that dont seem to resolve itself, namely. The inability of the left to unite around common issues and to understand the working class. The inability of Labourites to understand the economic/cultural changes that have happened in the last 2 years and adapt. Ll get 'me coat! Hopefully I'll be back soon.

For Workers Unity and Socialism. Friday, September 11, 2009. Rover Bosses crooks, but they are getting away with it! And under a Labour Government no less. This makes depressing reading. Not just did they pocket millions but the cost the country millions by sacking thousands of skilled workers and chucking them on the dole. That brings me to the banks. Links to this post. Thursday, September 10, 2009. Trade Unionism in the Middle East. Links to this post. Very pleased to see Unison taking the Organising.

IANSREDLOG: Privateer Connaught facing bust
http://ian1961.blogspot.com/2010/09/privateer-connaught-facing-bust.html
For Workers Unity and Socialism. Tuesday, September 7, 2010. Privateer Connaught facing bust. 10'000 job losses isnt anything to celebrate. But Connaught was a company like many other fighting for valuable Public sector contracts. ConDem cutbacks have pulled the rug out from under this company. I believe it will be the first of many. Unions have to fight the cuts and bring outsourced work back in -house. Private contractors arent safe anymore. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

For Workers Unity and Socialism. Sunday, October 10, 2010. Football and Free Enterprise. I have long since held the belief (like millions of others) that football is being slowly strangled by Capitalism.
