Gone with the wind.: March 2007
http://windtothywings.blogspot.com/2007_03_01_archive.html
Gone with the wind. Wednesday, March 28, 2007. Yesterday night, I went with a group of friends to relive our childhood days. We went to watch TMNT, a show which all of us were faithfully glued to at 5.30pm on weekdays. CGI has given 2D turtle-heroes more defined features and more heroic-appearances. And I always thought Warcraft was progress from TMNT. Well, mindless entertainment with a good dose of childhood memories and a guaranteed good ending works wonders. Cowabunga. Friday, March 23, 2007. First, ...

Gone with the wind.: November 2006
http://windtothywings.blogspot.com/2006_11_01_archive.html
Gone with the wind. Monday, November 27, 2006. I climbed a mountain, and the highest one in England at that. Am back from Lake District, an amazingly beautiful place! Then we had a huge turkey dinner and a turkey-eating competition between ben and jiawei which was hilarious and a zongjimima game which was even funnier (don't ask why.) Saw a real fireplace and played jenga with blocks thicker than my wrist! Had a really great weekend, but now have to make up for lost time. 1 world econs essay. Maybe this ...

Gone with the wind.: February 2007
http://windtothywings.blogspot.com/2007_02_01_archive.html
Gone with the wind. Sunday, February 25, 2007. My home country wants to be everything else, but itself. It wants to be bustling like London, diverse like New York, culturally vibrant like Paris and socially graceful like Japan. How to be uniquely Singapore, except as a jigsaw puzzle made up of pieces which others have developed over hundreds of years? We already have Chinatown, Little India, Katong and Kampong Glam. Do we need Little London, Little NY, Little Paris and Little Japan as well? I remembered ...

Gone with the wind.: January 2007
http://windtothywings.blogspot.com/2007_01_01_archive.html
Gone with the wind. Saturday, January 27, 2007. It snowed on Tuesday night, and it was truly beautiful. It was easy to forget that snow is nothing but frozen rain, until I trudged through puddles of half-melted snow/ice to politics seminar the next morning. I love the scenery, but it will be great if it isn't so cold this week, when I spent most of my nights trudging around Earlsdon and coughing, sneezing and wheezing away. Revised perceptions this week:. 3 My dad has his reasons for hating to move house.

The Time is Now. Joel, 23, Medical Student, Mugging His Life away, Wrong, Plays/ed water polo, AC Boy (Save for 3 months in RJ), Wondering/Wandering. Sunday, August 27, 2006. The World's turned upside down. 1 week break is likely gonna be time for most of us to catch up with the books.Sigh. Somehow I just don't feel ready for it all. It's taking a while for me to adapt to all this stuff once again. Wish I knew how I should pace myself for this year. It only gets harder, everyone says. Thanks Amanda, Liji...
