January 1, 2012 · 5:14. This collection of words is not the result of a New Year’s resolution…I promise. For quite some time I have quietly pondered coming back here…But sometimes it is hard to find a reason to come back when you never had a solid reason for leaving. But I am back…spiraling into control. Hope the holidays found you happy and well…. 2 responses to “. January 1, 2012 at 5:14. That has to be one of the most stellar photos I have ever seen- did you take it? February 19, 2012 at 5:14.

Archive for July, 2012. I’ve been a bad, bad blogger. So much has been happening so fast around here I’ve hardly had time to think, much less blog. So, here’s a quick rundown of news. 1 There was one more surprise lamb born about a month after Atlas and Tucker. This one was a ewe lamb, from Susie. Her name is Stella, she’s adorable and has a gorgeous fleece. I can’t believe I haven’t shared a single photo of her here yet. She’s 2 months old already, shame on me! This is a huge, huge, HUGE deal! Anna'...

All jazzed up for Spring. March 29, 2010. It’s been unseasonably cold here lately, as we’ve been lashed with seemingly non-stop rain and wind. last weekend, i got tired of waiting for Spring to get here, and decided to dress up our front door. After a long day of work, it’s so cheering to come home to a pretty door. silly, but true. Or will no longer fit by the time it’s seasonable to wear them, and packed those away, too. my closet is looking quite sparse right now, as i’ve not done much...Good for you ...

giving thanks | le moineau
https://lemoineau.wordpress.com/2009/11/30/giving-thanks
November 30, 2009. The warmth of radiators. The scent of apple-cinnamon muffins. Leftovers from a thanksgiving feast. Visits from family for the holidays. Friends and their babies. A warm, cozy home. Toddler art, stuck to our refrigerator. The beauty of simplicity. Dreams of the future. I hope you had a beautiful thanksgiving (or a beautiful weekend, for you non-american folks). what are you thankful for this holiday season? Responses to “giving thanks”. Feed for this Entry. March 6, 2010. Hello, March. a change of a season, and many changes occurring in our little house. John is student teaching this semester, this. Close to finishing and being hire-able (oh, we hope)! Wherever this journey takes us, however, wherever we end up, it won’t just be the two of us – we’re going to have a baby in august! We’re incredibly excited, and very, very happy (and i am hugely relieved to now be in the 2nd trimester – no more all-day nausea, and i’m getting some energy ba...I, for one, hop...

Idea shamelessly borrowed from hulaseventy. Andrea is always a good source of inspiration! My 24th birthday is coming up in just a few days, and as something to give me a little oomph to get out there, I’ve been compiling a list of things I want to do/accomplish before this time next year. 1 Buy a few prints from my favorite. 2 Try jogging/running again, now that I have good shoes. maybe this time I won’t get shinsplints? 6 Grow patio tomatoes next summer; this year’s experiment with herbs went qui...

gypsysticks: August 2010
http://gypsysticks.blogspot.com/2010_08_01_archive.html
Remember when I shared this with you the other day? Well, this is one of six paintings I worked on last week. Remember how I was telling you they're so different from other things I've done up to now? You'll have to tell me what you think of her, and whether she should keep coming to life in future paintings. I'm hoping you can read the words, but if not this one's called, "she always loved the smell of rain". Don't you just love the fresh, cool smell of rain? A cheerful heart fills the day with song".

gypsysticks: summer shawl
http://gypsysticks.blogspot.com/2011/08/summer-shawl.html
I recently bought this beautiful book and found a pattern for a lovely summer shawl. I've been working on it most of the summer and finally finished it. The book is a collection of Vogue patterns, so of course they're all beautiful. I knitted my shawl with Dream in Colors' baby lace weight 100% Australian merino wool in Sour Pear. Isn't that a pretty name for a summer yarn? Blessings and happiness,. 10 August, 2011. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). O'Fallon, IL, United States. View my complete profile.
