Universities and Unhappiness | Of Cabbages and Kings

Of Cabbages and Kings. April 17, 2011. 8212; Chinmayi @ 8:28 am. Almost everyone I know who studied at the university that I went to describes it as the worst period in his/ her life. Sure, there are a few people who said it was the best period of their lives but these people were the mean, the inconsiderate and most prominently the uneducated – it was their playground. Isn’t it a terrible thing? Why would anyone permit that? Leave a Comment ». Feed for comments on this post. Leave a Reply Cancel reply.

Of Cabbages and Kings. November 13, 2010. Filed under: Random musing. 8212; Chinmayi @ 6:18 pm. This city is wrapped in a thickening mist that floats alluringly above its ankle. A shadow of the emphatic fog that shrouds London or the deep smoky air of Delhi. Someone looking at it through a window would swear there it chilly like a real winter. Although there are no greatcoats and shared street bonfires, there are mufflers, sweaters and people with flus everywhere. Leave a Comment ». I saw this (7).

Have you ever dreamt of living or crossing it off your list? You breathe but you are dying with every breath. And you thought love was the only contradiction alive. I start to think of what was. This one time you called for red, I gave you your own blood to taste. For cynics preach sacrifice, you sought defiance too.

If you have been living in India in the year 2014 (or an Indian living abroad, but in touch with happenings in India), you would be hard pressed to miss the controversy surrounding the film PK. The film seems to be a darling of controversy (if measured by number of FIRs and legal actions initiated against it) - in the filming stage FIR. And it promoted enmity between religious groups.
