This IS my therapy. Thursday, November 28, 2013. There's no place like home! After searching and praying and searching some more, Austin and Jill have found a new home! The closing date was yesterday, everything recorded and funded like it was supposed to, and the keys were placed in our eager and grateful hands. The first thing we did? Since the temperatures in the valley were supposed to soar close to 120 degrees this weekend, we had the bright idea of escaping to the mountains to get out of the heat. It was cooler. by about 20 degrees. It was still 100 degrees above the Mogollon Rim! But it seemed cooler because we were in the pines, and there was a nice breeze. Ember using her new camera. This IS my therapy. Sunday, March 30, 2014. We have our Family Home Evenings on Sundays here at our house, because I have to work on Monday nights. Today's lesson was about our words, and the effect they have on others. We began with a glass vase. We were mean to the vase. We told it we didn't care about it's feelings. We told it that it was fat, and ugly, and dirty. We told it we didn't want to be it's friend. We told it we never wanted to see it again. We told it we hated it. We said sorry to the vase.

The other day he was introducing Lightning McQueen to Thomas the Train; they looked like they were the best of friends sitting on the floor nose to nose.
