He was so excited can you tell from the first picture? That ten minute talk on good sportsmanship before the races started really paid off! Later he pouted all the way home because I told him that two brownies, and three cookies was enough dessert, and he didn't need anymore when we got home. Ahhhh, such is life. Links to this post.

I missed it wasn't clear until we arrived. i love the sound of cicadas at night. i still vividly remember the first time i realized how silent idaho can be at night. i went on a date once to the sand dunes (no. Today, Eliza came home from preschool with face paint on. It was beautiful, it was sparkly, it was ALL over!
