Life's Treasures . . . Thursday, November 3, 2011. We had a fun Halloween. We braved the cold, windy weather all for the joy of trick-or-treating. The kids are so cute in their costumes! We carved pumpkins on Sunday night and the quote of the day was by Julia, as she was cleaning out her pumpkin she says, "I can't even look at my hands, it grosses my eyes out." At least she was willing to touch the inside of the pumpkin this year:). My kids didnt touch the insides this year but hopefully next year. :).

November 30, 2008. Goin' Sleddin'.Texas Style. There is nothing better than kicking off the holiday season with some good ole fashioned sledding.Texas style. Just drain the water out of the local waterpark and! Instant sledding in 65 degree weather. No snow required! Now that's my kind of sledding. Terence broke his jaw playing "non contact" flag football on Thanksgiving day. He had to have his jaw wired shut for 6 weeks. He then broke his ankle 3 days after he got his wires off.
