Lazy Gal Winter Class: Finally, some progress! Tracey

http://lazygalwinter.blogspot.com/2007/12/finally-some-progress-tracey.html

Lazy Gal Winter Class. Monday, December 3, 2007. Finally, some progress! Your wonky churn dashes look great! The large medalion really doesn't do a lot for it :-( maybe as it lacks the "wonkiness"? December 3, 2007 at 3:58 AM. Enough to slice them up and use them as alternate blocks? Words in the center, snowmen as border? Words and snowmen in the center and the churn dashes as the border? Try making the words so you can move those around as well. December 3, 2007 at 8:47 AM. December 3, 2007 at 12:58 PM.

Lazy Gal Winter Class: Finished letters (if not words!)

http://lazygalwinter.blogspot.com/2007/11/finished-letters-if-not-words.html

Lazy Gal Winter Class. Thursday, November 22, 2007. Finished letters (if not words! Hi, Helen from New Zealand here. Well done everyone on the progress you are making. Love what you've all done. Have to ask what a lemon drop martini is, sound delicious! Love the question - leaves so many possibilities open for the picture :-). November 22, 2007 at 8:05 PM. Love the O . it has character. November 24, 2007 at 4:59 PM. The kiwi with stockings sounds great. Nothing wrong with that O! Lazy Gal Winter Class.

Lazy Gal Winter Class: Heidi - finished with fans

http://lazygalwinter.blogspot.com/2008/01/heidi-finished-with-fans.html

Lazy Gal Winter Class. Tuesday, January 8, 2008. Heidi - finished with fans. The fans are done, the binding is done, what's left is to fill the hearts, give eyes and noses to the elks and sew the hanging sleeve on ( and then put it away till next Christmas :-) ). As you can see in the first photo, one heart is filled already, I'm still pondering about how to fill the others. Maybe with question-marks or with 'Yes' and 'No' and 'Maybe' or 'love' and 'joy' and 'bliss '? The quilt looks wonderful! Or maybe ...

Lazy Gal Winter Class: It seems my quilt was a weather forecast!

http://lazygalwinter.blogspot.com/2008/01/it-seems-my-quilt-was-weather-forecast.html

Lazy Gal Winter Class. Wednesday, January 16, 2008. It seems my quilt was a weather forecast! Ving fun with making letters, and I think I'm developing a style or a font. And for the rest of you, there's lots of winter left in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, so if your project is still in progress, you've got at least three months more by my calendar. FYI: this quilt is about 37 inches wide by 28 or so and fits nicely on the wall above my fireplace./Brenda. January 16, 2008 at 4:00 PM. That's a great quilt!

Lazy Gal Winter Class: Just snowballing along ....

http://lazygalwinter.blogspot.com/2008/02/just-snowballing-along.html

Lazy Gal Winter Class. Friday, February 22, 2008. Just snowballing along . Well here I am a couple of weeks later and my quilt is not finished; but I do have something to show you. I have to admit . I really do like the free form fans using just a marker and no stencil. The fans were drawn randomly and some had to be touched up a bit. Sure makes life a lot easier and the effect for this frozen lake gives the illusion of snow drifts and ridges. Have a great weekend! February 23, 2008 at 9:35 AM. Love it&#...

LIfe may not be the party we hoped for, but while we're here we might as well Dance! November 25, 2007. I like this email so thought I would share it. A woman, renewing her driver's license at the Motor Registration office, was asked by the counter clerk to state her occupation. She hesitated, uncertain how to classify herself. What I mean is. Explained the counter clerk,. Do you have a job or are you just a ? Of course I have a job,". I'm a Mum.". We don't list 'Mum' as an occupation,. I do not know.

Monday, February 28, 2011. I got home from work today to find 3 envelopes from the Queenstown Symposium committee. All 3 were acceptances for the quilts I entered for exhibition. Yippee! These are the 3 quilts I have entered. I have posted about the first before, but the other 2 have been hiding! A walk in the woods.

Honeybunch is what I used to call my son when he was little. Corny I know, but he was a little bunch of honey. Now he's that species called 'adult male'! This is the story of my quilting life. Monday, July 26, 2010. A Memory of NZ. Drawing the pattern to full size. Then I went back to bed for a bit more shut-eye. I got up at about 8.30am, selected fabrics and started sewing it. It was finished and the binding was on, ready for hand stitching down, by 10pm that night! I highly recommend Gail's book. A...

Killin' Time Reading

A Lazygal's Reading Diary. All Out of Pretty; Ingrid Palmer. All Out of Pretty. My rating: 3 of 5 stars. This suffered from comparison to Cold Hard Truth. Which might have been unfair but. timing. This is less about fitting back in to an old "normal" life and more about finding a normal life when the old one has been ripped away. A far grittier book, this is what could have happened to Emmie had she not had a father to run to. ARC provided by publisher. Links to this post. By Steven B. Frank. ARC provide...

Lazy Gal Summer 2008

Lazy Gal Summer 2008. Welcome to the Lazy Gal Summer Quilting Class of 2008 (even though I'm a pinhead and put 2007 in the url). Our theme is repetition. We're working in a free-pieced or improvisational way. No templates, no patterns, not much measuring and not many rules. Sunday, March 21, 2010. At long last.my project is done! I'm not sure anyone is still checking this blog, but I'm posting my news anyway! I want to hand quilt it, but I'm afraid of all those seams! Links to this post. Wednesday, Novem...
