First Cairo, now Palestine. The unexpected, or, and then there were two. Seeing or hearing things I don’t expect to be in a certain place might be one of my favorite parts of traveling. Most of the time its pretty trivial stuff that just amuses me, like seeing Kentucky Fried Chicken translated into Arabic for the first time in Cairo or the mall there having, of all chains, a Fudrucker’s (Do we even have those in the States anymore? They’re always funny, these random little curiosities.
