Brooklyn Garden Girl: July 2012
http://brooklyngardengirl.blogspot.com/2012_07_01_archive.html
Friday, July 27, 2012. Eastern Conference Additions Sansevieria. I get why people seem to dislike sansevierias, they're boring, you don't have to baby them, the flowers aren't too showy. But when you're gardening full time and living in tight quarters, the appeal of sanseverias take on an entire new playing field. I guess my interest in them really started about a year and a half ago when my co-gardener gave me one of those Saneveria cylindrica. I checked out some other varieties on Glasshouseworks.

Brooklyn Garden Girl: April 2013
http://brooklyngardengirl.blogspot.com/2013_04_01_archive.html
Tuesday, April 9, 2013. After a winter of searching on Daffseek and trying to find open source photos of Daffodils, everything is finally starting to bloom and is coming up in full. I'm very pleased that the job decided to include my daffodil sheets. It took a while to gather some of that information so I'm just glad that we've made this more of an educational display rather than just an astoundingly large number of bulbs. Friday, April 5, 2013. Brooklyn Garden Girl: June 2012
http://brooklyngardengirl.blogspot.com/2012_06_01_archive.html
Friday, June 22, 2012. Our hydrangeas just look amazing this year. Hydrangeas aren't exactly difficult plants to maintain but there are definitely a few steps you can do to make them perform better. One of the most important thing about growing hydrangeas is knowing which type of hydrangea you have. Different hydrangeas require different pruning times since some will flower on new wood and others will flower on old wood. In the meantime I have some pictures I took of these babies during our New York heat...

NanciWorld: Garden Angels - Not What You Think
http://nanciworld.blogspot.com/2014/04/garden-angels-not-what-you-think.html
Sharing my gardens, love of Nature, garden art, and everything interesting in my tiny corner of the world! Garden Angels - Not What You Think. I was given this garden plaque years ago. I didn't like it - first, I don't care for angels (Fairies - yes! Angels - nah). Second, I'm a stickler for grammar, and I couldn't figure the saying out. What did it even mean. That we HAVE garden angels? Or there ARE garden angels? I WANT garden angels? It's colorful, and nobody else has one like it! Happily A Member Of.
