Priest Jailed for Abusing Minor Girls in 60s and 80s. A Catholic priest has been sentenced to three-year imprisonment for historic sexual abuse of young girls. Father Patrick Holmes, now 79, had pleaded guilty at a Perth court on charges of committing six sex offences. Patrick was accused of sexually abusing girls aged between 10 and 11 years in the early 1980s while appointed as a priest in Shenton Park’s Saint Aloysius Church.
