After playing a very long running game of phone tag, I finally had the opportunity to photograph the Casali family-one of my first family portraits session in Normal Illinois! The whole family was great to work with, even if the parents weren't planning on being photographed! After some convincing, they joined in for a few family portraits, and they ended up looking fantastic. We told the kids that there was a frog in the water and they were. Trying so hard to find it!

Sunday, October 20, 2013. As a child, one of my greatest fear was to ingest poisonous berries. I wouldn't eat anything from nature (which was probably not a bad choice,) not even dandelion leaves (which you can actually buy from the grocery store for your salad.) Even though I always pretended to be a fairy, I was never that comfortable with nature. We shot this out in the country, on a super overcast day, with the help of my models brother Nate, and their dog, Ginger. Ginger was also a lot of help.

Saturday, August 1, 2015. Back in May I was up in Wisconsin participating in a huge fashion shoot, and I had some spare time to run to Waukesha to photograph my Cousin Nate. It was really nice to get the chance to see him and his family, and he was so much fun to shoot. The main problem with our shoot was that he looked too much. Like a male model, which was just weird!
