http://lcbiblechurch.blogspot.com/2015/06/the-first-steps-story.html
Lewis and Clark Bible Church. 35082 Seppa Ln Astoria, OR 97103 pastorjerry@lcbiblechurch.com. Sunday, June 28, 2015. THE FIRST STEPS STORY. Pastor Henry is a little man with a big heart. I initially met him on my first visit to Uganda. My uncle, Pastor Bob Emrich, had invited me to accompany him on a trip to Uganda. My daughter Carissa joined us on the first trip. We held a conference for a group of 25 or so pastors. Pastor Henry was in that group. He served as my translator on numerous occasions. The br...

Lewis and Clark Bible Church: July 2015

Lewis and Clark Bible Church. 35082 Seppa Ln Astoria, OR 97103 pastorjerry@lcbiblechurch.com. Thursday, July 30, 2015. What do you do if you, as a Christian, are called upon by governing authorities to do something that is in violation of your conscience? What used to be a theoretical question about something foreign to our experience- reserved for Bible School debate or Sunday School discussions- is increasingly becoming a distinct possibility or reality for the Bible-believing Christian in America.

So I thought I'd include this account of his and Haley's testimony in my blog. While Haley packed the remains of their lunch back into the basket, Brian reached into his backpack and pulled out a miniscule box. When Haley turned around, he was on one knee and had opened the box. Brian was working at Teen Tre...

Lewis and Clark Bible Church. 35082 Seppa Ln Astoria, OR 97103 pastorjerry@lcbiblechurch.com. Wednesday, June 3, 2015. It has ever since been referred to as the Great Coastal Gale of 2007. It was a big storm; the biggest in my experience of living on the North Oregon Coast. It packed winds in excess of 100 mph. In fact, a gust of 127 mph was recorded not too many miles south of here in Bay City. The storm also brought heavy rains and produced widespread record flooding. She and I stood a frightful watch ...

Lewis and Clark Bible Church: INDEPENDENCE DAY
http://lcbiblechurch.blogspot.com/2015/07/independence-day.html
Lewis and Clark Bible Church. 35082 Seppa Ln Astoria, OR 97103 pastorjerry@lcbiblechurch.com. Saturday, July 4, 2015. The dictionary defines tyranny to be “cruel and oppressive government or rule.”. Today we celebrate Independence Day, as well we should. Freedom from tyranny is something not everywhere enjoyed, either historically or geographically. It is something we Americans tend to take for granted. There is a freedom of another kind, purchased by Christ Himself, that is of infinitely more value.

Lewis and Clark Bible Church. 35082 Seppa Ln Astoria, OR 97103 pastorjerry@lcbiblechurch.com. Thursday, July 2, 2015. 8220;What do you have that you did not receive? 8221; (1 Corinthians 4:7). The believer in Christ is a person who has been incredibly blessed by Jesus Christ (Cf. Ephesians 1:3). We sometimes behave like spoiled children. Spoiled children live in a fantasy world of prideful expectancy. They mistakenly assume they deserve all that they are given. They had walked according to the course of ...
