Documentary: London By Cycle. April 7, 2015. April 28, 2015. A Wellcome Change: Not Only A Reading Room. March 13, 2015. March 16, 2015. Euston Road is probably not on top of the list for most people when it comes to a Saturday afternoon exploration. However, this has changed since the Wellcome Collection opened her arms and welcome visitors to discover her charms weeks ago. One of the highlights is the newly designed reading room. At the far end of the reading room, several people lying lazily on comfy ...

So what happened to my Beating the Bounds challenge? On: May 19, 2013. Still to go, in no particular order:. If anyone would like to ride with me this year, tweet me at @beatingbounds. Or leave a comment here and we’ll talk dates. Equally, if anyone has contacts at local cycling groups in any of the above boroughs, I’d be grateful for being put in touch in case they can suggest good routes or have their own ride I can join in with. Ride date: Sunday 1st May 2011. A full set of photos from the ride is here.

Beating the Bounds 2011! On: October 5, 2010. It had to happen – the first rainy ride of the series. The weather forecast was not great, but I had confirmed in advance that the Westminster CC ride would go ahead anyway, and as it turned out, 8 of us came on the ride. Only 4 finished it, for one reason or another, and we were all distinctly soggy by the end. It wasn’t the most fun ride I’ve been on this summer, which I think was partly due to the weather and partly due to some inconsistencies ...Great to ...

http://bobsbikeshed.blogspot.com/2013_08_01_archive.html
Sunday, 11 August 2013. The Lewisham Bicycle loan scheme. Working with the london Cycling campaign. And Lewisham council the Lewisham Bicycle loan. Scheme was born out of a small pilot project in Greenwich. The idea behind the scheme is to offer people the chance to try a bike for a month and see if it fits in with their lifestyle or indeed more promisingly that they change their lifestyle to one that fits a bicycle. The cost? Part of the fleet for lewisham. A growing fleet of bikes. Simple template....

Bobs Bike Shed: March 2013

Saturday, 2 March 2013. L'Eroica build is finished. Was a great source of information as well as some reasonably priced NOS parts, I cant recommend him enough and a lovely chap to talk too. The only part not included in the group set was the head set, which is a Tange Levin Campag copy. I couldn't justify some of the secondhand prices that were being asked for an original item. The Tange looks the part and works. Any way here are some photos of the complete bike. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).
