The district is currently evaluating the computers that help us control the Waste Water Treatment Plant (WWTP). The systems in place now have been in operation since the WWTP went online 10 years ago. Replacement of these computers will not impact district operations. September 26, 2013. Lewis County Water District 6 is currently exploring options to allow online electronic bill payment for our customers.

Lewis County Water Sewer District 6. Stewards of Our Water Resources. An original water system known as Lake Mayfield Water Supply System and was owned and operated by Cheri and Roxy White. Facing growth and system upgrade difficulties a purchaser for the water system was sought. Several residents formed Lewis County Water Sewer District #6 and also created a Local Improvement District to raise capital to fund the purchase, improvement and operation of the water and sewer system.

The Commissioners had a very important decision to make as our operating fund was significantly low. Raising rates $1 a year generates only $3,204. The District offers an annual prepay discount of 5% to those customers who opt to pay 12 months in advance. The 12 month rate $77.00 x 12 = $924.00, less a 5% discount of $46.20 = $877.80.
