Tuesday, August 31, 2010. That's my little Sarah. I came in from taking out the garbage this morning after seeing the boys off to the bus stop and found Sarah had climbed out of her crib (a new feat) and was at the table eating breakfast - shirtless! She refused to put it back on, but at least I understood where she was coming from. So, sex ed is beginning already - see Mom, see Rachel, see Sarah, we are girls and Mama has her shirt on and Rachel has her shirt on and so should Sarah. There I finally blog...

Monday, May 11, 2015. In those first weeks after the fire, I had a Peter-like experience. I walked on water, and I also fell and was saved. Praying for us, serving us, expressing their love, support, and concern for us. That's not a trial. My prayer was answered: little and big miracles were happening every day and we were seeing them. Friday, April 27, 2012. Here's what's been crackin' around here. Over spring break some friends came to visit. We hadn't been in touch with them for many years (like almost 10)! And then they played. Saturday, December 25, 2010. The girls sliding down AJ's new skate ramp. AJ wore his new rollerblades (my old ones) all day - even to do his chores. He can already do more in a few minutes riding around the kitchen table than I could ever do. He's just figuring it out on his own, but the constant round and round the table started wearing on me by the evening and making me dizzy. Sarah taking her new toy puppy from Aaron and Kelsey for a ride in her new doll stroller (yay! No more fighting over Rachel's!

Wednesday, May 2, 2012. Gardening woes turn philosophical. We've really enjoyed watching our seeds come up! Still haven't figured out why my new currant bushes kept dying back. One seems to have come back great this year after the winter, but the other 3 are still showing signs of last year's behavior: dying back, sending out new growth, leaves turn brown and fall off, repeat. Wednesday, October 21, 2009. Beginner's Luck and Traditions Passed Down. Tonight Matthew, Rachel, and I are playing Hi-Ho Cherry-O while waiting for the boys to get home from scouts. She's doing well at recognizing the numbers and picking the right amount. Doesn't get the point of this game either though. She thinks spilling the bucket is something good.
